MICHAEL NINN

Agency NI is a creative studio built around cinematic image-making, artificial intelligence, and modern campaign development. Combining decades of visual direction with advanced generative tools, Agency NI creates distinctive fashion, lifestyle, and brand imagery designed to feel authored, polished, and unmistakably human.

The Catherine Series is an ongoing visual exploration of identity, beauty, transformation, and cinematic storytelling. Blending fashion, portraiture, surrealism, and contemporary image-making, the series moves between intimate character studies and larger conceptual worlds, creating a body of work that feels elegant, provocative, atmospheric, and distinctly cinematic.

The Catherine Exhibit is a curated extension of the Catherine Series, bringing selected works together as a focused visual experience. Built around scale, atmosphere, and presentation, the exhibit transforms individual images into a larger narrative about identity, beauty, symbolism, and transformation—designed to be experienced as a cohesive body of contemporary photographic art.
The Catherine Exhibit is now available for private events, conventions, corporate gatherings, gallery installations, and select special engagements. The presentation can be adapted to different venues and audiences, creating an immersive visual experience for both intimate and large-scale events.

Neo Sensual is a modern wellness and intimacy brand focused on creating thoughtful products designed to support confidence, connection, and personal well-being. Developed with an emphasis on comfort, elegance, and ease of use, the line brings together contemporary formulation and refined presentation to create products that feel discreet, elevated, and approachable.

Synthara Music is the home of Michael Ninn’s original music, bringing together compositions created for the Catherine Series alongside The Life Lived, a full album of original songs written as a deeply personal musical project. The collection moves between cinematic atmosphere, emotion, memory, and storytelling, extending the same visual sensibility found throughout Ninn’s work into music and sound.

ABOUT MICHAEL NINN
For more than four decades, Michael Ninn has built a career around one central obsession: creating images that feel larger than the medium they were made for.
Beginning in film and photography, Ninn developed a visual language defined by dramatic composition, atmosphere, movement, and an unusually cinematic approach to image-making. His work became recognized for pushing beyond the conventions of its genre, combining narrative, fashion, music, design, and technology into highly stylized visual worlds.
Throughout his career, Ninn has remained intentionally private. Interviews have been rare, public appearances selective, and the work itself has generally been allowed to speak louder than the person behind it. That distance helped create a certain mythology, but the philosophy behind the work has always remained simple: keep moving, keep experimenting, and never become comfortable repeating what has already been done.
Today, that philosophy continues across several very different projects.
Agency NI explores a new generation of fashion, advertising, and identity-driven imagery built through a combination of traditional art direction and artificial intelligence.
The Catherine Series and Catherine Exhibit continue Ninn’s exploration of portraiture, beauty, symbolism, music, and cinematic storytelling through an evolving body of photographic art. Music has always been central to Catherine, including creative work connected to Eddie Van Halen, whose contribution became part of the project’s larger artistic history.
Neo Sensual extends that creative philosophy into product development and contemporary personal wellness.
Through Synthara Music, Ninn has returned to another lifelong form of storytelling: music, including the original compositions surrounding the Catherine project and The Life Lived, a complete album of songs written from personal experience.
The technology has changed dramatically over the years. Cameras became digital. Editing rooms became computers. Images became data. Artificial intelligence has opened an entirely new visual vocabulary.
The objective has not changed.
Make something worth looking at. Make it personal. And keep moving forward.
